Personal Statement

Dear students and scholars,

My name is Chunhui Gu, a third year PhD student in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley. It is my great honor and pleasure to devote myself to the presidency of BCSSA in the year 08-09, and to get to know many talented people around with different backgrounds and interests.

Serving the biggest Chinese community at Berkeley well is both rewarding and challenging. We all witnessed the power of BCSSA to make changes to and promote social lives for our community from a series of hosted events. On the other hand, this important association needs care and support from everyone within the community. I am currently very fortunate to work with a passionate team of committee members ranging from undergraduates, graduates to scholars who have done great jobs, and I am looking forward to more of you to contribute to the development of our BCSSA.
